Our LOVE story begins in the spring/SUMMER of 2012. This year was not the first time that our lives, friends, or paths crossed. But little did we know that August 1st, 2012 would be the foundation of The Thompson Love Story!

We met at Monroeville Mall as store managers in 2010-2011. Daily, we would see each other pass by or in the food court. Never said much of anything to each other. (Candice was ice cold like that), but no matter what, we manage to lock eyes!

Until one day, Scott decided to make a very bold move!

At the time, Candice worked at "Bakers" (A Women's Shoe Store), which just so happened to be directly across the hall from Scott at "Decibel" (an Urban Clothing Store). Like any other day, Scott would get bored and roam the Mall Halls and shop. So Scott finally built up the courage and walked directly across the hall. Once Candice was in Scott's sight, he locked eyes with her as he entered the store. 

Slightly shocked by seemingly seeing Scott standing in doorway. Candice greeted Scott with her best and sweetest customer service voice. She asked him what he was looking for. At the time he was shopping for someone else. But he Said "I am looking for something like what you have on your feet!"

Which Scott always admired Candice's sence of style. She quickly smiled and said " Sorry we do not have these here anymore but this is lite from my shoe collection". Then stood up and led him to other like products that she had present. At this point Scott wasn't interested in the other shoes nor the person he was shopping for. But, more of how beautiful and intelligent Candice was.  

Scott kept his cool and shorly ended the visit, Candice walked with Scott to the door and they Shook hands in Slow motion 😂🫠🥰 and Scott walked away. That was the last time that year both Candice and Scott saw each other.

Candice had got a Management job at South village Mall while Scott was still in Monroeville. Candice would get a chance to see Scott but only from a distance. She would see him waiting for the bus on the busway to go to work.

Candice found her self looking for Scott everyday around the same time, once she started seeing him again. (Which was something she did not do) . Until she was transferred back to Monroeville mall. Where Scott had also been promoted to Store manager of Jimmy Jazz.

The first time Candice saw Scott she made sure she was beyond gorgeous! Walking down the hall in her long black fur coat and thigh high boots, tight denim, and elegant sweater. Knowing Scott was standing out in front of his store. Her face was flawless and Hair flowing like she had a Beyoncé Fan with her. Scott locked eyes with Candice and she uncontrollably but sweetly took her glove off and blew Scott a Kiss. Once again in slow motion 🥰🫠😂

Candice then turned the corner and walk towards the food Court off into the distance.

Fast forward to May 5th, 2012. Scott finally got other chance to see and talk to Candice. But this time he was SHOOTING HIS SHOT!

Scott walked up on Candice and started talking to her. Their conversation was cut short because Candice Bus had arrived. Scott saw his chance a asked for Candice's number! She Smile took his phone and saved her number. They immediately felt a connection and started texting that day. Their first phone conversation lasted the night! Before they knew it:

August 1st, 2012 Started Dating!

November 17th, 2017 The birth of Dakota!

August 1st 2024 Wedding Day!

Our 12 year love story has grown and shown us alot about ourselves. Our relationship mission statement has alway been:

As long as we have GOD and each other we will conquer anything within God's Will!
